Sonnets in The Garden

Thursday evening 6pm - 7pm

June 26th

William Shakespeare’s Sonnets are among the most glorious poetry ever written, and the most fascinating to: they speak of love and passion, of longing and lust, of power and possession, of the unrelenting passage of time and of the complexities and complications that come with conducting a relationship across the boundaries of age, status, class, gender and social norms.

Sebastian Michael, author of The Sonneteer and several other plays, and podcaster with SONNETCAST – William Shakespeare’s Sonnets Recited, Revealed, Relived comes to The Onion Garden to recite some of his and your favourite sonnets for you, and to talk about the incredible stories and constellations behind them.

So, join us for Sonnets in The Garden and enjoy the art of language in the gorgeous setting of our nature.
